We all love a good find don’t we? I know I do. Not only do I love discovering a new skincare brand, I am even more of a fan when their prices don’t break the bank!

I have been known in the past to buy products because their packaging was cute without really knowing if their products work..I can finally say…I still do this!

Just kidding…as colourful as it might be I read and read about it before making the purchase.

So when a brand has cute packaging AND their products work - well, Good Molecules Lightweight Moisturizer has earned its place on my skincare shelf.

Good Molecules - The new kid on the block!

I am talking about the new kid on the block in my skincare collection - Good molecules! I honestly don’t remember how I stumbled across them, probably through social media but I am so glad I did.

Truly one of my favourite things about social media is the discovery of new brands and products!

Founded in 2019 their claim is that:

the world has enough products that don’t work and cost too much
— Good Molecules

Hallelujah - this has definitely happened to me and you right? It’s frustrating, time wasting and quite frankly not so pocket friendly.

So Good Molecules was created to change this, their ingredients are science backed, they work to make a difference in your skin, it’s safe for you, me and our planet (lord knows it needs protecting) and best of all - their low prices means it's accessible to more people.

Already a skincare staple

Good Molecules Daily Lightweight Moisturizer has cheekily made its way into my favourite pile and for good reason.

Very lightweight on the skin, which can be used day and night, super hydrating and nourishing and it preps your skin nicely if you are following up your skincare routine with makeup.

I took this moisturizer with me on holiday to Bali recently and it really kept my skin hydrated even after being in the sun, the sea and from the humidity!

Good Molecules Lightweight Moisturizer ingredients and packaging

Good Molecules Lightweight Moisturizer contains macadamia seed oil, shea butter and a plant-derived silicone alternative - yes it’s vegan.

It is also fragrance free and cruelty free - we love a brand that cares.

As already mentioned you can use it morning and night, massage onto cleansed skin and wait for it to fully absorb before applying SPF in the morning.

I love their packaging, the colours - all of it. The box it comes in tells you how to use it, when to use it, its PH level, what step in your skincare routine it should be used at and an easy to read ingredient list.

One other little thing they include on the box, a favourite of mine - is the version of the product.

In this moisturizer’s case, it’s version 2.0 and it tells you what changes they made.

For this version - they increased the size from 50ml to 100m and switched to 100% post consumer recycled tube - a brand that listens and acts on customer feedback has my vote.

The actual product packaging also has similar information, in case you throw the box away which I just personally find very handy and I am handing out extra brownie points for this because I throw the box away sometimes without reading everything and end up searching on Google for how to use instructions.

Good Molecules if you are reading this - thank you!

Good Molecules Moisturizer summary

For £12.. or $15 gimme it! There is no debate here..it is such good value for money for a high quality product. I am a fan, I will be trying more products from their range and if this is the first you’re hearing of Good Molecules - you’re welcome 🙂
