My pores are..let’s just say a skincare concern of mine - scrap that I think it’s just that my pores bother me the most and I want to tackle them in any which way that I can. Why are they so prominent?
Why can I play dot to dot with them..the list of things that irritate me about them is endless.
So when I discovered the Caudalie Vingergetic C+ Instant Detox Mask a few months ago, I had to jump on the bandwagon after seeing other people’s results.
The buzz around this mask was and still is huge and after the mask received over 100 million views on TikTok, I began to wonder..could this work for me too?
Will it actually help reduce the appearance of my pores? (we can’t permanently get rid of them - I wish). I put it to the test and here is the lowdown.
Who are Caudalie?
Caudalie has been around for some time, 28 years to be precise and they have a whole host of different products for every skin type and concern you may have. One of the founders, Mathilde Thomas said:
“I want Caudalie to be the most effective of the clean & natural brands and the most sustainable of the beauty brands”
What a great philosophy to stand by and from what I know so far from using some of their products is that their clean ingredients are effective.
Caudalie Vinergetic C+ Instant Detox Mask
They created the Vinergetic C+ Instant Detox Mask which is known to cleanse off all the dirt lying around on our skin and get rid of excess oil, whilst also tightening your pores.
Does it do this? Yes it most certainly does - have a look at my skin before.

Twice a week apply a thin layer to clean skin and leave for 10 minutes until completely dry. Then rinse
I was very much quickly humbled at the sight of my pores when this mask started to dry. Firstly, it really highlighted how many pores I actually have..just wow.
Secondly, I could physically see the mask drying out my oil and boy did I have a lot of it.
The satisfaction watching the process was so good, we love instant results don’t we?
My skin felt a little tight once it started drying but not uncomfortable and my skin did not feel dry when I washed it off.
I could physically see that the appearance of my pores looked better and tighter!
I now do this mask twice a week, one of the days being Sunday so I’m ready for the new week with my detoxed skin!
Caudalie Vinergetic C+ Instant Detox Mask Conclusion
Considering the product lasts a while, a little really does go a long way, I feel the price point at $31/£26 for 75ml is okay and I would happily repurchase.
There is a smaller size at 35 ml for $17/£14 for anyone who doesn’t want to splurge without knowing if they will like it or not - but trust me I think you will! Pass me all the Grapes, I am obsessed - thank you Caudalie.
