Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream review

Moisturizers feel so nice on the skin, my skin physically feels tight (if it could cry out for help it would) if I don’t apply moisturizer daily and after cleansing.

I have used lots of different moisturizers over time, some I have liked, some I absolutely loved and some I disliked - all ranging at different price points.

I recently splurged on a luxury moisturizer and here are my thoughts..

Pros

Skin types

As like many others around the world, I am a huge fan of Tatcha and their moisturizers are lush. In particular, The Dewy Skin Cream.

A rich cream that works to hydrate and plump the skin. Ideal for dry skin but great for combination skin as well.

Price and verdict

In my opinion, the only thing stopping me from giving this moisturizer full marks is the price. For 50ml it will cost you £67/$72 - I heard your gasp from here.

It’s expensive I know, can you justify purchasing it regularly - maybe you’d think twice.

Personally for the results it gives and the quality of the cream, I’d repurchase. Plus a little goes a long way!

I may have to have a more affordable one to alternate between so the Tatcha cream lasts longer but I’m happy to do that.

Alternatively there is a travel size option 10ml for £24/$23.

Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream conclusion

Tatcha as a whole is such a fantastic brand and so are their products, everything I have tried from them so far is a winner.

As mentioned above, I know it is expensive, maybe it can be the one off skincare product splurge?

If you try this cream, you will know why so many people, including myself, love it. It is definitely worth trying at least once.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream can work particularly well for mature skin because it focuses on deep hydration and skin plumping. As skin ages, it naturally loses moisture and elasticity, which can make fine lines more visible.

A rich moisturiser like this can help improve the look of dryness and give the skin a smoother, more radiant appearance.

  • Many people find this cream works well as a hydrating base under makeup, especially if their skin is on the dry side. The moisturising formula can help foundation sit more smoothly and prevent makeup from clinging to dry patches.

However, if you have oily skin, you may want to apply a smaller amount to avoid excess shine during the day.

  • Yes, the cream contains added fragrance, which gives it the subtle scent many luxury skincare products have.

While the fragrance is generally mild, people with very sensitive or reactive skin may want to take this into consideration before using it regularly.

  • A 50ml jar usually lasts around two to three months with regular use. The formula is quite rich, so you typically only need a small amount per application.

If you use it just once a day, it may last even longer.

  • Tatcha states that it does not test finished products on animals. However, availability in certain markets can affect how some people classify cruelty-free status, so those who prioritise strictly certified cruelty-free brands may want to check the latest brand policies.
